Closed-cell gives better cushioning as it does not "bottom out". It does not absorb sweat or moisture like open-cell foams do. Initially designed for road cycling, but also perfect for mountain biking where saddle vibration and impact is higher, and ideal for spinning where air flow is reduced. Short and long leg lengths available. Long length is just above the knee, and the short is 2" shorter.
