St Neots Riverside Park

Woburn Wander

Distance - 19 miles
Short Cut - 15 miles

This exhilarating ride through the undulating wooded landscape of Bedfordshire's Greensand Ridge, starts from
the historic market town of Woburn.

Start at the large free car park opposite the imposing St Mary's Church in Park Street. Turn right outside the car
park and continue down Park Street towards Woburn Abbey. Keep straight on after the second cattlegrid, cycling
through the deer park for a mile.

At the end of the deer park bear left and pass two turns on the right signposted to Eversholt, before taking the
3rd right-hand turn at Water End, signposted to Tingrith and Eversholt. Continue straight on for 1 ¼ miles to Tingrith.

Just before reaching Tingrith village take a right turn to Toddington. At the end of this peaceful 2 mile long lane,
turn right to Milton Bryan. At the T-junction in Milton Bryan turn left, and then right at the next one onto the A4012
towards Woburn.

After ¾ of a mile turn left to Potsgrove, along a very quiet lane. At the junction bear right down to the Woburn Road.
Turn right towards Woburn.

For the shorter ride of 15 miles continue straight on towards Woburn. For the longer ride, turn left after 1 ½ miles,
signposted to Little Brickhill. In 1 ½ miles turn right, the only direction marker being a white sign saying Woburn Golf.
Ahead is a lovely ride through woodlands, but beware of patches of sand on the road which can cause skidding.

Turn right at the next junction, and pass Aspley Woods on the left. Turn right again onto the main road into Woburn.
