From Cuddington railway station cross the main A49 at the traffic lights along Norley Road, then turn almost immediately right down Mill Lane.

At the end of Mill Lane turn left and first right after about 50 yards. Follow this lane for a mile and a half and turn left at the T-junction and then next right on Onston Lane through Onston. #

At the next T-junction, turn right on Station Road. This is the B5153 and after half a mile it enters Acton Bridge.

Pass the railway station and turn left at the Hazel Pear pub along Hill Top Lane. The road eventually bends to the right into Acton Lane and goes steeply down hill.

At the foot of the hill, it joins the A49 where you turn left and cross the swing bridge over the River Weaver.

Turn left immediately after the bridge on the track along the edge of the river. After about a mile, cross the river and then go over the locks by the footbridge.

Turn right along the patch underneath the Dutton viaduct.

After about half a mile, at Pickering's Wharf the path turns left into a country lane. Stay on this as it climbs uphill ignoring turns to left and right.

At the T-junction at the end, turn right then left after 200 yards down a narrow lane.

Take the left fork after 300 years and climb up the Sandstone ridge.

Go straight over the next crossroads and turn left at the T-junction on the B5152.

At the Forest Gate Care turn right into Delamere Forest along Ashton Road. Follow the road through the forest passing the Barnsbridge Gate car park after about half a mile.

Continue for a further half mile to a track on the left signed to Acton Bridge, Delamere and Kelsall. Turn left here and stay on the main track, following the 'cycle path' route marks in the direction of Delamere Station.

After two miles, the track crosses the railway line and turns left along a road.

Cross the road at the station towards Delamere Forest Golf Club. Pass the clubhouse on your left and, at the fork, head right. This eventually comes out on the A556, where you turn left.

After a mile, turn left (signed to Norley) at the crossroads.

At the top of the hill, turn right on Cuddington Lane. A road joins from the left but you should keep straight on to the crossroads on the A49, Cuddington station is straight ahead.
