Newcastle City riders 9th annual coast to coast |
Hi fellow cyclists,
Please find enclosed details of Newcastle City riders 9th annual coast to coast charity cycle ride in aid of Breast cancer and the Macmillans nurses. The ride takes place on the first weekend of July and is from Glasgow to Tynemouth over 3 days. The ride is our 9th ride and there will be about 70 to 90 cyclists involved.We are sponsored by Newcastle city council who provide vehicles and logistical backup to enable us to transport our cyclists across the country in comfort.
We use quality accommodation and have a very professional well organised team to run the rides. This includes marshals and motorcycle outriders, medics and vehicle backup.
We have raised over £65.000 for various cancer charities in 8 years and have involved over 250 cyclists in that time.
