The volunteers of the Wirral branch of the Leukaemia Research Fund are organising their seventh annual bike ride through the Wirral on the Sunday 12 June 2005 to raise money by sponsorship to support the activities of the fund both locally and nationally. Two routes of 13 and 26 miles are available: Both start and finish in Arrowe Country Park (Golf course entrance), Upton, Wirral.

This is a fun day out for individuals and families (minimum age of 8 for children) and groups from all sectors and professional organisations, eg, industry, schools, sports clubs, leisure clubs, pubs, etc. The bikeathon is a bike ride, not a race. There will be marshals along the route and the St John Ambulance will be present.

Entry Fee: Adults £6.00; Under 17s £3.00; Entry fee on the day: Adults £15.00 Under 17s £5.00
