Many e-cobr members can also provide Cycleguard policy holders with replacement bikes in the event of claims.

Cover for the cyclist includes:

£1,000,000 third party liability cover
£10,000 death or permanent disablement
£5,000 for the loss of a limb or an eye (limit of £5,000)
The use of a legal helpline and assistance from Cycleaid Cover for the bike includes:
Replacement on a new for old basis for bikes up to 3 years old
Cash settlement on bikes over 3 yrs old, less depreciation at 10% per annum
Theft - subject to using an approved lock (visit our website or call us for our approved list of over 80 locks)
Theft from locked premises 24 hours a day subject to forcible and violent entry (if at your home overnight between 9pm and 6am the bike must be inside)
Theft when unattended 24 hours a day subject to being locked to an immovable object (bikes over £1000 must be fitted with an approved electronic tag*)
Accessories on a stolen bike are covered when included in the sum insured and stolen with the bike
Accidental damage
Road based time trials
In transit cover when on public transport accompanied by you, or handed to a recognised transport provider and in adequate protective packaging
No excess, but minimum claim value of £100

*Cycleguard can supply customers with an approved electronic tag for their bike for just £5 when they take out a policy.
